Through its long history, LaSalle National Bank had built an historically significant photography collection. A hardcover volume showcasing the collection was published. The bank decided to offer it as an incentive to their creative clients, encouraging them to come in, discuss how the bank's services could help the growth of their business, and receive the volume. Since a postcard invitation wouldn't do for this audience, we created an invitation with a custom die-cut wrapper made to mimic a camera's shutter. Tucked inside was a folded 3-panel strip teasing the list of photographers, the pitch to creative clientele, and some teaser shots of the book's content. It was printed on both sides, with the back contains a reverse image of the front, driving home the film stock reference. They gave away all of the books they had allocated.
